The Austrian Association Supporting the Blind and Visually Impaired has been actively supporting visually impaired and blind people in Austria for over 90 years – funded entirely by donations.
As the oldest and, with around 6,400 members, the largest self-help organization for the visually impaired, we represent the interests of approximately 318,000 visually impaired and blind people across Austria. Our locations are in Vienna (1200, 1210), Linz, and Graz

With around 6,400 members, 55 full-time staff, and about 400 volunteers, the Austrian Association Supporting the Blind and Visually Impaired is a large community. Join us as well!
Visually impaired and blind people can become members for free and access numerous services, committed individuals can get involved in volunteer work, people with great ideas can implement projects with us, and those who want to do good beyond their lifetime can arrange a bequest donation.
